In South Australia during January 1986, Philip Speakman & Associates commenced operations and, through a commitment to professionalism and excellent business processes became Adelaide’s leading local Human Resources consultancy, highly respected nationally, and with subsidiary companies in other recruitment specialties.

In the late 1990’s, Speakman and Associates became a part of the Vedior Asia Pacific family, as did Tanner Menzies a few years later. Both firms maintained consistent growth and service excellence, and over the ensuing years started to adopt shared professional values.

Upon the retirement of Philip Speakman in early 2003, Speakman & Associates merged with Tanner Menzies to form one entity operating across Australia.

Whilst now known as Tanner Menzies nationally, our South Australian operation includes the words “incorporating Speakman” in our livery, demonstrating both our pride in a 20-year history of excellence and a commitment to our South Australian clientele. As Tanner Menzies, we will continue the passion for professionalism that is expected of us in the local marketplace, now enhanced by a truly national presence with Tanner Menzies offices in every mainland capital.
